Welcome.

Welcome to my new site. I’ve changed some things around, given newstalk a new home (”newstalk.eykd.net”:http://newstalk.eykd.net), and switched to a new blogging platform, “WordPress”:http://wordpress.org. Lots of new nifties, like the new link list on the side there, and PurpleNumber links (for fine-grained addressing) at the end of each paragraph. Let me know if you have any trouble with the new look. I’ll probably be tweaking things for the next month, at least.

Note: Requests for the old newstalk pages will get redirected here, but please update your links, bookmarks, and newsfeeds accordingly. Thanks!

Also note: A lot of the older entries are slightly broken–that is, they aren’t going to be valid XHTML, so they might render a little funny, and they certainly won’t validate if you click on the “Valid XHTML” link on the sidebar. I’ll clean them up when I have time. Everything on the front page and in the “favorites” category should be clean. Let me know if you have trouble.

As for other news, I’m in Wheaton now. I have food, shelter, warmth, Internet–all the basics. Now, I just need a job. If you know where I can find one, don’t hesitate to let me know. I’m looking to work part-time right now, and work on my real profession, that of writing. So… you might see me here more often. Cool, huh? I thought so.
