Hmm? Oh, yes.

“Mike”:http://berenwasteland.com was “bugging me this morning”:http://newstalk.eykd.net/oldspeak/2004/10/05/why-havent-you-started-reading-malakhim-yet/#nid105c29-1 for not posting. As “Malakhim”:http://malakhim.com/comic.php is currently on hiatus for “technical difficulties”:http://malakhim.com, I guess I do need something to replace my “previous post”:http://newstalk.eykd.net/oldspeak/2004/10/05/why-havent-you-started-reading-malakhim-yet/. So, I’m still here. I’ve settled into a comfortable routine of reading, working, writing, socializing, sleeping (not necessarily in that order). I’ve been trying to spend less time on the ‘net, as it has proven to be a huge time-waster for me.

Of course, saying that, I’m on the internet right this moment. Just now I’ve been reading some political commentary, trying to figure out the ramifications of Bush’s election-day victory. I voted for him, and so did a lot of other people (just enough of them, actually), now I’m wondering what he’s going to do with that. It’ll be interesting to see what the Democrats do, too, since that party seems to be coming apart from the inside.

Yeah, so the previous paragraph is the reason I haven’t been posting much here–my life has simply been fairly boring and average. If you’ve emailed me recently, I’ll get back to you soon, really. My inbox has been flooding with traffic from a few lists that I’m on, and it’s hard some days to wade through it all and pick out the real important messages. Real Soon Now I’m going to put some filters in place to help me manage it better. Until then, well, bear with me.

Update: If you want to read some rockin’ conservative political commentary that doesn’t read like political commentary, go check out the “Belmont Club”:http://belmontclub.blogspot.com/. By “rockin’”, of course I mean lucid, literate, entertaining, thoughtful, and most shin-kicking-est. Otherwise, it’s hard to describe. Read “an essay”:http://belmontclub.blogspot.com/2004/11/red-and-blue-this-article-from-jane.html or “two”:http://belmontclub.blogspot.com/2004/11/november-3-2004-presidential-election.html, and you’ll see what I mean.
