And then it started snowing again.

On Sunday, we had a high of 54° and sunny with clear skies. Right now, it’s 31° and snowing steadily. Everyone here on campus is gone on Spring Break, everyone except the tireless employees of Wheaton College! All in all, campus is quiet. The Print Shoppe has been slow, though not as slow as it has been in the past. Oh yes, and it’s snowing, and I am sitting here at my desk thinking that perhaps Spring isn’t quite here yet.

I haven’t written much here lately, because nothing has seemed altogether noteworthy. Well, except for a few things, but I’ll get to those eventually. My projects this week: develop a back-up plan for my important files, integrating a central version control system so that I can track changes and keep working copies on either my laptop or my desktop. If you think that’s interesting, please let me know, and I’ll expound upon it at length. ;)

In other news: I’ve been reading some excellent books recently:

  • Fiction: “The Once and Future King(View product details at Amazon)”:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?tag=newstalk-20%26link_code=xm2%26camp=2025%26creative=165953%26path=http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html%253fASIN=0441627404%2526location=/o/ASIN/0441627404%25253FSubscriptionId=0EMV44A9A5YT1RVDGZ82 by T.H. White. Three words will have to suffice: Read this book. I’ll write a full review later.
  • Non-fiction: “The Desire of the Nations: Rediscovering the roots of political theology(View product details at Amazon)”:http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect?tag=newstalk-20%26link_code=xm2%26camp=2025%26creative=165953%26path=http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html%253fASIN=0521665167%2526location=/o/ASIN/0521665167%25253FSubscriptionId=0EMV44A9A5YT1RVDGZ82 by Oliver O’Donovan. I’ll have to write about this one too, because I think this is an important topic for modern Christians to consider, and of course a topic that doesn’t get considered often enough. (Why do those two qualifying statements seem to travel together so often?)
