Adam and Eve seem to believe that this is why they never died, but there are other possible explanations.</li> <li>Adam and Eve are never mentioned as bearing daughters, but it stands to reason they must have.</li> <li>As a part of this re-imagining, Hannah and Cain ate from the Tree of Life as children, after sneaking into Eden and bribing the fiery angelic sentinel with berries.</li> <li>Adam has mangled the line, but this is from Robert Frost's "'Fire and Ice'":http://www.bartleby.com/155/2.html.</li> </ul>
