The Friday Night Report.

Friday night is a loose term, I admit. I should be updating at saner times beginning next Tuesday.

Today was the perfect Friday:

A beautiful, sunny day, but not too hot.
A Friday before a three-day weekend.
A payday Friday.

I do not think you could do better than this Friday has done. My paycheck even had a few overtime hours on it.

I’m quite scattered right now. This week I’ve been working on a team entry into the “PyWeek”:http://mechanicalcat.net/tech/PyWeek/1 contest. You can see our team’s site at “http://blazeofglory.org/”:http://blazeofglory.org/. We’re all amateurs, and we had a slow start as we flailed about with the physics library we were using. We’ll finish, though, and I know we’ve all learned quite a bit, both about programming a game in Python, and about working online in a distributed team. It’s been fun.

And it’ll be over in 18 hours, and I need to sleep for about 8 of those. So I better get to it, and there are miles to go after I sleep, and miles to go after I sleep.</update>
